Just the beat down I needed.
Six hours, four flats, lots of gravel, and Coshocton county. Now that's a ride.
Beetles tribute in Holmes county?
Sheldon came down from Vermont and of course wanted to do a cheese ride. I thought I rode gravel fast until he smoked me down a few hills. That is, until he flatted of course.
Can anyone guess where this is?
I think this sign pretty much says it all.
Notice the Amish crack house in the background.

Make a map of that ride on http://www.mapmyride.com/ and post it here. I might do that ride on my cyclocross bike with the much more flat resistant tires. Was there a lot of gravel roads on that ride?
too bad i missed out on that on!!!whew!! did you stop and check out any local wine with that cheese??
Sorry Smed, a cheese ride is never the same route twice and therefore it would be against the rules of good taste to map it out. Getting lost IS the whole point. Simply put:If you use a map on a cheese ride it is no longer a cheese ride. Plus, I have no idea where the heck we were most of the time anyways.
I know that farm lane... Looks like they cleaned it up a little - theres not 1/2 the ruts I remember.
I think its just outside Fredricksburg but I was so turned around I'm not sure. As usual, I had no choice but to follow or be lost to only be abducted by some hairy legged amish women.
Belmont
how was sheldon riding?
Well, he didn't have to get off his bike and jump around in the ditch this time. And he's no stranger to gravel roads in the hills either. He could probably outclimb anyone in our club right now.
